do drink/drug treatment centers work?

their success and how they can be varified Yes, the drug / alcohol center assessment work is based more on personal appearance than anything else. If you do not want to stay and a positive attitude to go, than not. These places are mostly very useful, if not only prevents you from accessing the material, but someone there to talk if you feel weak. Few beverages or other drugs, is relatively simple. Keeping up is the hard part. Treatment may not help you with that. I think it depends on the person who enters the center? If someone wants to be helped.then they can, but some are adament that they are OK and you do not have help.then can be almost impossible to help them, they only work if the person is ready to happen. You can not force someone to change, they want simplicity and willing to work like mad for it. Personally, I try to allow the person to stay in if they feel they are ready to go, and after care support, such as halfway houses or sober, and then support groups to care and treatment monitoring I am sure that all studies heart rate of success, but watch carefully to each of them and see how these studies are in progress .
